Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 (including additional company benefits)

I’m currently recruiting on behalf of Mechanical & Electrical Contractor based within the heart of Central London. They are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager due to a strong pipeline in London for the next few years to come which is only continuing to grow. They have won a contract that was challenged by several other leading M&E contractors for a major high rise and high specification residential scheme in East London. My client has been the key player in the design and build of commercial and residential developments in London since millennia and are looking to build on this success to grow further over coming years.
This is a great opportunity to work for an internationally recognised contractor whilst working on some of the most prestigious contracts being constructed in the years to come.
Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- Strong liaising skills with both sub-contractors on site and Clients.
- You will need to be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager, Project Engineer, etc for the last 8 years or more.
- Experience in delivering a project from design through to handover.
- Shell and core experience is essential.
- Experience in managing Commercial office projects over £10 million.
- Experience in managing Commercial office projects over £10 million.
- Possess a good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Previous procurement and management of sub-contractors
- Attend and run weekly meetings with the client and delivery teams
- Having previous experience working for a large M&E contractor
- Strong commercial and financial experience
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Excellent clients facing skills
- Industry Standard HVAC / Heating and Plumbing, or Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Qualifications and Certificates
Remuneration Package
- A very competitive basic salary (dependent on previous experience/ track record).
- Fully expensed travel.
