Salary banding: £65,000 – £75,000 basic salary (plus additional company benefits)

Established in the mid 1970’s, my client is a recognised market leading MEP building services contractor, undertaking all aspects of electrical and mechanical installation. The business offers a complete design to completion solution, whilst mostly operating across the commercial office, data centre, hotel, industrial/ infrastructure and leisure sectors. Working in partnership with several main contractors and end users, they continue to strive to complete projects to the highest of standards and within timeframes.

Following a period of company expansion, an opening has now arisen for a client facing and technically astute Mechanical Project Manager. This role will suit an individual with experience managing the complete project lifecycle from initial tender/ pricing through to final completion. In return, the successful applicant will join an industry leading building services contractor who place an emphasis on employee satisfaction/ rewards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee the full project lifecycle (initial tendering, design review, preconstruction, procurement, project delivery, testing & commissioning and final completion).
Commercial management, ensuring project activity is delivered in accordance with budget constraints.
Liaise and communicate with main contractors and end user clients.
Deliver an exceptionally high standard of project delivery.
Ensure HSE policies are adhered too.
Act as a point of contact for site personnel.
Take a lead role during design and site progress meetings.
