Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
Salary: £80,000 – £95,000 (including additional company benefits)
Location: Central London (Proximity of EC1)

I’m recruiting on behalf of one of the leading M&E contractors in the UK that dominate the London commercial new build and fit out market. They are recruiting due to exceptional business growth over the last few years and have secured a healthy pipeline for the foreseeable future in Central London EC1 with blue chip contractors.
A new role has been generated at the Mechanical Project Manager level as there are several new commercial projects ranging from £2 – £40 million MEP. The said individual should have flagship commercial experience delivering projects of a similar values in both the CAT A & B and shell and core sector.
This role would suit someone who is keen to put in the hours to progress and earn market leading money. However, because my client are a tier one contractor they are looking for ambitious motivated individuals who can handle pressure and deliver flagship projects within clients specifications as all their work is off the back of successful repeat works.
Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- Ideally the individual should have a minimum of 9 years’ experience working in a similar position.
- Large commercial, data centre, pharmaceutical and infrastructure project experience.
- Administer procurement of sub-packages/contracts and materials.
- Project experience £10 – £50million+
- Liaising with clients over design variations.
- Managing full site team (including 3rd party subcontractors).
- Developing and maintaining excellent customer and full site team relationships.
- Ensure projects are delivered to a high quality in line with the set specification and budget.
- Always ensuring health & safety is followed.
- Ensuring professionalism is always adhered to.
- Overseeing weekly design, progress, and commercial meetings.
