Job Description
Following a very successful few years, an opening has now arisen for a Mechanical Project Manager. This role will play a crucial role within the senior leadership team, responsible for leading multiple London based projects typically valued between £100,000 – £5 million. Based between head office and site(s), the ideal candidate will have upwards of five years’ experience leading mechanical building services projects from design stage through to client handover. The successful candidate will in turn receive a basic salary of up to £75,000 in addition to tailored career progression and long term job security with a family owned business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing site-based mechanical trade contractors.
- Ensuring the safe management and control of mechanical services installation and ensuring works are carried out in accordance with procedures and processes.
- Handling technical documentation and project reporting, including risk assessments, method statements, O&M manuals, technical submittals etc.
- Attending weekly progress meetings with the client, main contractor, and mechanical subcontractors.
- Ensuring key milestones are achieved with high quality maintained at all times.
- Stakeholder management.
Remuneration Package:
- Market-leading basic salary up to £75,000.
