Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (including additional company benefits)

I’m seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for a well-respected M&E Contractor based in South London who have built a great reputation in London delivering landmark residential projects to a quality standard whilst focusing on staff development and care. They are on the search for a Mechanical Supervisor with lots of major residential project experience to play a crucial role in the development of £20 million design & build project in Southeast London.

Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- Successful track record of delivering large residential or mixed-use projects in London upwards of £15 million M&E.
- Conduct weekly supervisor H&S site walks, to be recorded on the data management system.
- Conduct toolbox talks on a weekly basis
- Input/manage the production and implementation of RAMS/COSHH.
- Understand and be able to work to a construction programme and report delays to Project Managers
- Provide information to the project Document Controller for the production of install and delay trackers (which must be kept up to date)
- Attending a 2-weekly ‘look ahead’ meetings with the site manager to plan sub-contract package management and planning of the workload.
- Management of infrastructure and or fit-out 1st fix and 2nd fix install.
- Ensuring all installations are carried out in accordance with the Client’s Requirements, scope of works, drawings and quality plan within the contract
- Aiding the Project Manager with material and equipment call-offs
- Conducting quality control checks/snagging and log this on iAuditor
- Conduct the sign off process via Field view
- Ensure that testing and commissioning procedures and policies are adhered to for example reporting on Field view and overseeing shell and core commissioning.
- Manage the testing sheets and signoffs of ‘life safety’ specialist sub-contract works/all subcontract works.
- Constant initiative discovering better ways to decrease defects.
- Industry Standard HVAC / Heating and Plumbing, or Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Qualifications and Certificates
- Effective communication and leadership skills
