Company Overview
A leading Tier One M&E contractor in London is seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager take ownership of delivering a high-value project circa £30 million MEP in Zones 1 London.
You will be leading the construction a major project within the mixed use commerical and residential sector for a client such as Mace, McLaren, Multiplex, and Sir Robert McAlpine.

Key Duties & responsibilities
- Health & Safety Leadership – Ensure strict adherence to site Health & Safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all operatives, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Design & Compliance – Work with the design team from project inception to ensure designs are compliant, buildable, and aligned with project specifications. Oversee quality inspections to verify installation compliance.
- Site Leadership – Act as the lead representative on site, reporting to the Senior M&E Project Manager and coordinating daily site activities to meet programme milestones.
- Commercial Support – Work closely with the commercial team to monitor budgets, manage procurement take-offs, and oversee material call-offs to ensure cost efficiency and value delivery.
- Team Management – Delegate works among supervisors and direct site operatives, ensuring tasks are delivered effectively, on time, and to required standards.
- Programme Delivery – Organise work schedules, track site progress, and maintain accurate timesheets to ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed timelines.
- Subcontractor Management – Oversee subcontractor performance, driving progress towards practical completion (PC) dates while ensuring quality and compliance.
- Risk & Compliance – Work closely with Compliance Managers, applying AP-level knowledge to ensure statutory, technical, and contractual obligations are consistently met.
- Reporting & Communication – Provide clear reporting on site progress, resource management, and key risks, ensuring alignment with senior management and stakeholders.
