An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based across Central London has arisen.
GH Engage are currently recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to be based in Central London carrying out planned and reactive commercial building maintenance across a commercial council contract. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
This position would be ideal for a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return the company are offering a competitive salary in the region of £41,000 with a potential route into further career progression.
Key duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor mechanical plant
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing – Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
- Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
- General building fabric
- Escort specialist sub-contractors
- BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
- Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
- Maintain and update Log books
Package Details & Hours of Work
- Basic Salary of up to £41,000
- Monday – Friday: 8-5
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Requirements
- Mechanical or Electrical qualifications Lv 2 & 3 – NVQ or City & Guilds
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Good communication skills
