GH Engage is recruiting for a Project Manager at a major telecoms business who is on the way to driving Britain into the top 5 for internet speed. This permanent role requires an ambitious candidate who’ll help reduce customer costs and shape a superfast network for a super-connected society.
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of a national rollout for a key client with strong visibility within the business.
- Managing customer interconnect activities aligned with FEX and City rollouts
- Developing the project plan for all network activities from initiation, through design, order provisioning, implementation, testing, and RFS, within a particular city.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A Prince2 qualified Project Manager with experience in Telco Networks (FTTP, FTTH, FEXs).
- Strong and able to demonstrate experience delivering projects from end to end.
- A problem solver and able to determine if a project is truly being managed and run in an Agile way.
- Someone who is ready to chair project-level meetings, can communicate the plan and its progress with the use of MS Project, Excel, and eventually Cora.
- Someone with excellent stakeholder management and client-facing abilities, as well as superb project management skills and verifiable experience with large-scale customer network rollouts on tight timeframes.
Salary and Benefits includes:
Up to £55,000 + 6,000k Car Allowance
Candidate MUST be based in/around Portsmouth due to frequent travel (approximately 3-4 days a week) to Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole, Worthing & Chichester. Trips may be more if required or due to key meetings being held in those areas.
