Job
A Senior Project Manager from an M&E and Engineering/construction background is required to join a growing team in East London to manage the delivery of business as usual engineering and larger construction projects up to a value of c£6m to data centres and critical environments. It is a requirement of the job that you have a lot of experience with critical environments, tier 3 data centres, UPS’ and so on. You will be responsible for cradle to grave project management, from due diligence to full handover.
Accountabilities:
- Due diligence, procurement,
- Corrections, evaluations and recommendations to tender documents.
- Developing a detailed projects programme.
- Overseeing budget development.
- Oversee all day-to-day operations (Business development, managing subcontractors, site managing when required etc)
- Create and deliver presentations for conferences; chair meetings and take minutes.
- Always work closely with stakeholders (both internal and external) to ensure the efficient delivery of projects.
Experience and Requirements
- Extended experience within critical environments/ data centres is an absolute requirement.
- Over 5 years’ experience in M&E/Construction projects is required.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering large projects on time and to budget.
- Demonstrable ability to work to deadlines and multi-task projects.
- Strong organisational skills and flexibility.
- Client-facing manner and ability to form strong working relationships.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
