Quality Assurance Manager- M&E Central London- Up to 45k dependant on experience
My client, a leading M&E Contractor are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Control Manager to join their busy team based in Central London, this is an amazing opportunity for someone to grow and develop within a company who offer career progression and development. The right candidate will have the opportunity to become the Head of department within a couple of years.
To be considered for this role you must have a degree or higher national diploma (HND) in a mechanical or electrical subject is a minimum. A graduate qualification or a technical degree background is preferred. Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
Main Duties
- Provide support and training to the Quality Department Personnel.
- Compile and update a Sitewide Quality Operations Guide for reference for all the Company personnel.
- Create a Project Quality Plan compatible with the project specifications at the starting of a new Project
- Manage and Supervise the Quality Department Resources, ensuring education and experience matches the Project needs.
- Create, maintain and update the Company’s Quality Management System in accordance with Company procedures and ISO9001 requirements
- Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications.
- Provide support and training to the Quality Department Personnel.
- Highlight and report any issues or concerns to the Project Directors
- Writing Technical Reports
- Ensuring and reinforcing that installations comply with standards at both national and international level, and that Benchmarks are being set up and followed.
- inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues.
- Report all malfunctions to production executives to ensure immediate action
- Monitor all operations that affect quality.
- Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting, recording and analysing quality data
Experience
- The ideal candidate is a reliable and competent professional with Engineering or Building Services background.
- Relevant work experience is essential within residential developments.
- Deep knowledge on ISO9001 standard and its implementation
- Excellent technical skills and confidence in their knowledge
- Good numerical skills and an understanding of statistics and data analysis
