An experienced Regional Contract Manager (facilities management – hard services) is required to manage a business-critical M&E maintenance contract for a blue-chip client, based in Basildon, Essex.
You will oversee a team of static and mobile engineers, driving operational excellence as well as taking commercial responsibility for a P&L budget. HVAP status or experience in business-critical environments is a requirement.

Accountabilities:
- Effective delivery of M&E maintenance to all client sites; driving the planned maintenance schedule and ensuring reactive requirements are efficiently resolved.
- Line management of a team of static and mobile engineers.
- Commercial responsibility to drive a P&L budget totalling circa £1.5m, plus extra works.
- Identification of additional revenue streams such as extra works.
- Regular meetings with the clients, ensuring SLA’s are being met and any issues are promptly and appropriately dealt with.
Experience and Requirements
- A strong technical background and relevant qualifications in electrical engineering, preferably with current or previous HVAP status.
- Experience in commercial/business critical environments.
- 3+ years’ experience in a Contract Manager position for a facilities management service provider.
- Experience successfully managing a P&L budget; driving profit through additional revenue streams.
- A good work rate and a positive attitude.
