With a track record of delivering high-quality projects, they are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Health & Safety Manager to oversee a significant data centre project in West London.
Role Overview:
As the Senior Health & Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of all operations on this large-scale data centre project. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and manage health and safety protocols to protect the workforce, equipment, and environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all health and safety activities on-site, ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Develop comprehensive safety plans and ensure effective implementation across the project.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to project teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to maintain a high standard of safety on-site.
- Investigate any incidents or near-misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Train and mentor site teams on health and safety best practices.
Requirements:
- Data Centre Experience: Previous experience working on data centre projects is essential.
- M&E Experience: Strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering is a must.
- Proven track record in managing health and safety on large-scale construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
