Job Title: Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £80,000 – 100,000 (Plus additional company benefits)

Company Description
A market leading M&E Contractor have asked me to seek a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor for their Central London Commercial Design & Build scheme. The reason they have asked me to recruit is due to an extremely positive schedule of work set to continue all the way through 2030 working with blue chip Tier One Principal contractors with MEP project values ranging from £20-60 million.
They are looking for someone with either strong commercial, healthcare, data centre and critical services experience, as they are known for delivering some of the most prestige projects with complex designs.
The role would be based between their head offices and on site within central London with a commuting time of 10 minutes in between. This is a stellar opportunity for a technically established Quantity Surveyor to be a vital part of flagship schemes in Central London for the years to come.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Contracts Managers in the procurement of Sub-Contractor packages and the preparation of the Sub-Contract documents.
- To be located between site and the head offices in London.
- Project experience from upwards of £15 million MEP.
- Previous experience taking a project from conception through to handover.
- Supporting the monitoring of the progress of the Works.
- The preparation and submission of contractual notices and / or correspondence to both the Client and Sub-Contractors.
- The preparation, submission and agreement of Interim Applications and Final Accounts.
- Preparation of cash flows, monthly cost reports and analysis of budgets.
- Attend monthly commercial meetings to provide update on any ongoing contract specific negotiations and overall job performance.
- Compile monthly progress reports for both the Contracts team & Commercial Manager.
- preparing material and subcontractor procurement, valuation of works and financial reporting.
- Liaising, negotiating, and relationship building with clients and consultants on an on-going basis.
- Be responsible for securing the successful financial delivery of projects by controlling costs, progressing monthly valuations, and managing variations and change orders.
- Liaising with contracts, estimating and pre-construction teams to obtain full understanding of each project scope.
