Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 basic salary (Plus additional company benefits)

My client is a multi-award winning mechanical & electrical building services contractor, located across the South London & Kent region. The business offers complete concept, design, installation & aftercare MEP services to the construction industry. Since the mid 1970’s, they have developed an unrivalled reputation across the commercial, education, hotel/ leisure and residential sectors.
Due to expansive growth, they now have an upcoming requirement for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the business. This vacancy presents a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, who is keen to join a supportive business offering outlined career progress to Design Management.
Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- Overseeing multiple design & build contracts of a varying nature.
- Liaise and lead design consultants and contractors, while evaluating all project related design decisions.
- Manage the design brief process and support operational teams in implementing technical solutions.
- Manage the lifecycle design process (RIBA stage 2 – stage 5+).
- Review construction issue drawings and other relevant design/ documentation.
- Lead a growing design team, while working under your own initiative.
