Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 basic salary (including additional company benefits)

My client is a national leading mechanical & electrical building services contractor, offering complete design, installation, commissioning and aftercare services. Headquartered in the heart of London, the business is a recognised MEP partner to many leading blue chip main contractors and developers. With a turnover approximately £200 million, this organisation operate across a wide range of sectors including commercial office, data centre, hotel/ leisure facilities, pharmaceutical and residential.
Due to experiencing company growth, an opening as now arisen for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Reporting to the Technical Director, this position is an exciting career opportunity for a career driven Mechanical Design Engineer, with upwards of five years relevant experience.
Key accountabilities & duties:
- Review and dissect client specification and drawings to produce accurate and timely mechanical design.
- Managing the mechanical design process from preliminary costing through to complete construction issue drawings.
- Produce and work to a design deliverables schedule in accordance with programme.
- Utilising design software’s including AutoCAD, Dialux and Hevacomp.
- Carrying out regular site surveys/ visits, while acting as a client point of contact.
- Working individually and as part of a wider team, regularly liaising with other business units.
Remuneration package
- A market leading basic salary of up to £90,000 basic salary (including company benefits)
