Job Title: Senior Mechanical Project Manager
Salary/Day Rate: Negotiable DOE (Circa £75,000 basic salary/ £400 per day)

I am working in partnership with one of the UK’s leading mechanical & electrical engineering services provider, based in Central/ SE London. My client joined the industry approximately 30 years ago & in this time have grown year on year; now having a strong presence across all regions of the UK. They are passionate about completing projects to the highest standards and therefore building fantastic long-standing relationships with many leading main contractors/ developers. Typically, they specialise across the commercial, healthcare, residential & hotel/ leisure sectors with projects ranging between £2 million – £35 million. Due to continued growth, they now require a Senior Mechanical Project Manager in association with a flagship development that is due to commence early 2021.
Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience
- Leading the complete project team throughout project duration
- Taking responsibility for the complete project lifecycle (Initial pre-construction, delivery, commissioning & handover)
- Working in conjunction with the pre-construction & commercial team to produce/ agree programme
- Attend pre-order & weekly progress meetings
- Review all technical mechanical aspects of system proposals
- Oversee & sign off invoices
- Control installation ad commissioning activities.
- Prepare & submit applications/ variations
- Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with programme/ budget
