Shift Lead

A medium sized and highly recognised privately owned Building Services Company with a drive for excellence is looking for an experienced Shift Leader on a large commercial premises in North West London.

You will be electrically biased, with High Voltage Shutdown experience and confident to lead a team of up to four mutli skilled engineers. Supervisory experience is preferred, as you will lead a team to oversee the Planned and Reactive Maintenance of two to three buildings.

Based in a prime Northwest London postcode, this is a static site and a daytime role based on 7am till 7pm on a 4-on 4-off shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the Duty Authorised Person (HV) whilst on shift leading teams during hands on high voltage switching.
  • Understanding and using Building Management Systems.
  • Providing technical support and guidance, identifying requirements for training, and implementing disciplinary procedures.
  • Implementing and enforcing health and safety compliance, including fire prevention and detections systems such as VESDA, Fire Suppression Systems, and Fire and Voice Alarms.

Experience and Requirements

  • Electrical qualifications; C&G Electrical Installations levels 1 and 2
  • 3 years of management or supervisory experience is preferred
  • 5 years’ experience within building services maintenance
  • Well-presented and confident in client facing responsibilities.
  • HVAP status is necessary (C&G AP15)
  • Hands on HV Switching experience

Benefits

This job will pay £45,000 per annum and comes with a wealth of benefits including the opportunity of overtime at a rate of 1.3% Saturdays and 1.7% Sundays.
