Shift Technician – Building Maintenance (Fixed-term-contract)

A Shift Maintenance Engineer with experience in commercial/critical buildings is required on a 14-month fixed-term-contract at a prestigious banking site near Canary Wharf.

This is a great opportunity to get a foot in the door at one of the world’s leading facilities management service providers on an impressive global HQ for a blue-chip company.

You will be joining an established team on a site with plenty of opportunity for overtime.

(Continental shifts, 7 – 7, days & nights)

Company

You will be working for a leading facility and building maintenance service provider in the City of London. They are an established company with an impressive portfolio of corporate clients across several sectors. Having recently won some new contracts across London, they are now in the process of growing their team to account for their success.

Accountabilities:

  • Planned and reactive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Maintenance of single and three phase Electrical Power and Distribution systems.
  • Emergency Lighting test.
  • Generator and UPS.
  • Heating/Water Systems & all plant equipment.

Experience and Requirements

  • Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications; approved apprenticeship and/or City & Guilds Level 1&2.
  • 3 years’ experience in building maintenance.
  • Previous experience within commercial/critical environments is preferred.
