Job
A Site Manager (electrical bias) is required to deliver M&E maintenance to a critical/corporate building in the City of London, managing a small team of engineers as well as sub-contractors. You will have relevant electrical building services qualifications and experience with building shutdowns. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior manager or a supervisor looking to progress in their career. You will be the first point of contact for the client on a day-to-day basis, as well as being the point of escalation for any technical issues from your team.
Accountabilities:
- Management of small team of engineers; providing technical guidance and general supervision.
- Responsible for deliver of planned and reactive maintenance in-line with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Ensuring all compliance requirements are met, driving RAMS.
- Monitoring and overseeing sub-contractors.
- Overseeing and implementing building shutdowns; ensuring minimum downtime.
- High Voltage and Low Voltage switching.
Experience and Requirements
- You must have an electrical engineering background; either City & Guilds 18th Edition or NVQ Level 2 & 3.
- Being a High Voltage Authorized Person (AP15) is preferred.
- You will have a very strong all round technical knowledge and compliance record.
- Previous Supervisory/Management experience is required.
- Experience with building shutdowns and HV/LV switching is ideal.
