A working Site Supervisor with HVAP status Is required to deliver engineering maintenance to a prestigious commercial office building in the City of London, on behalf of an established building services company.
This is a hands-on position with supervisory responsibilities to oversee a small team of technicians and would be an excellent opportunity for a Team Leader or Senior Engineer to progress in their career.
This a Monday to Friday role from 8am to 5pm.

You will be working for a leading facility and building maintenance service provider in the City of London. They are an established company with an impressive portfolio of corporate clients across several sectors. Having recently won some new contracts across London, they are now in the process of growing their team to account for their success.
Accountabilities:
- Delivery of the planned maintenance schedule and reactive maintenance to contractually agreed standards, whilst updating the PPM schedule and shift log:
- Air handling, conditioning, and terminal units -Fan Coil Units
- Domestic water services
- Fire prevention and detection systems
- Fire alarm and voice alarm
- VESDA
- Fire suppression
- Sprinkler
- Variable speed drives
- Generators, load banks and controls
- AC, DC single phase and three phase motors
- UPS systems, batteries, static switches, and associated controls
- Emergency lighting
- Low voltage switch panels and associated breakers
- High voltage switch panels and the operation of high voltage systems (11kV) including transformers and VCB’s (training and familiarisation with this system will be made available)
- Supervisory duties for a small team of engineers.
- Act as the Duty Authorised Person (HV) whilst on duty.
- Have a detailed understanding on BMS systems
- Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work
- Delivering monthly reports.
- Understanding of Concept system.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and HSE regulations.
Experience and Requirements
- Approved apprenticeship/relevant qualifications in electrical engineering.
- Experience at Team Leader/Lead Engineer level.
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Previous experience with Building Management Systems
