Job Description
An electrically biased Site Supervisor is required to deliver maintenance to a critical trophy building in the City of London. This is a Mon – Fri, 8am -5pm role.
Working for a leading building services supervisor, this a great opportunity for someone who is looking for paths to progression, with training and mentorship available.
Though predominantly a supervisory role, some hands-on work may be required.

Included Duties
- Supervise a team of engineers, overseeing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance.
- Act as the Duty Authorised Person (HV) whilst on duty and operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective, and efficient manner.
- Compile quotations to client and keep a close liaison and working relationship with the Client/Tenants.
- Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work, and to comply with both statutory and company health, safety and environmental regulations and policies.
- Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording of fire and water hygiene records and to ensure that Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are all kept to the highest level of housekeeping.
- Ensure that daily tours are completed and repair or report any defects found via the Landlord/Tenant helpdesk and to take responsibility for escalating critical incidents and producing and submitting incident reports within the prescribed timescales in conjunction with the Contract Manager
Experience and Qualifications
- 17th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation
- Previously HV Authorised Person
- C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2
- L8 Awareness
- Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices. Sound level of administration/organisational skills
- Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services and Building Management Systems.
- Excellent communication and skills and the ability to deal with staff and Customers at all levels, and able to demonstrate experience of managing contractors
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with experience of report writing, including intermediate computer literacy using Windows Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

The role comes with a salary of between £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience.
