Service Engineer will be site based (majority of the sites in London), and be expected to be able to work on their own or as part of a team without issue.
As a minimum, Service Engineer will be expected to undertake the servicing and maintenance of the following systems, in accordance with the LPC Rules for Automatic Sprinkler Installations Incorporating BS:EN:12845 and all associated technical bulletins:
- Wet Sprinkler Systems (Installation Control Valves/Alarm Valves)
- Dry Sprinkler Systems (Installation Control Valves/Alarm Valves)
- Fire Pumps
- Zone assemblies (zone valves and flow switches/zonecheck assemblies)
LPCB Inspection Competence Review – Testing and Commissioning desirable but not essential.
Service Engineer should be capable of and willing to undertake basic remedial works in conjunction with another engineer, for example, replacing flow switches, pressure switches, water motor alarms, etc.
Service Engineer will be expected to assist in the servicing and maintenance of Wet and Dry Riser systems in conjunction with another suitably competent engineer.
Service Engineer will be expected to understand the importance of clear and accurate paperwork when undertaking servicing, call outs and/or small works, most notably clearly identifying the status of systems to clients and accurately recording any further works required to allow for remedial quotations without site surveys required.
Call out rota negotiable.
Minimum Requirements:
- Good understanding of the servicing requirements of the LPC Rules for Automatic Sprinkler Installations Incorporating BS:EN:12845 and all associated technical bulletins.
- Good attitude to work and a willingness to assist team members wherever possible
Good progression paths available to a successful candidate, including training and development.
