Job
An experienced Account Manager (FM and building maintenance) is required by a world-leading service provider to oversee a key account of theirs in the City of London. The client you will be overseeing is a global brand and financial institution with a handful of offices across the Capital. You will line manage a team of over 20, with direct management of 4 Contract Managers: implementing a hard services contract. You will have ultimate responsibility for the account, ensuring all SLA’s are met and the client is happy with the service provided.
Accountabilities:
- An engineering background is a requirement.
- Ensure that contractual agreements are met and exceeded.
- Provide leadership for all employees on the account.
- Identify opportunities to increase turnover and profitability, ensure extra-works are added as often as possible, and make sure contracts are won on re-tender.
- Responsibility for all members of staff, ensuring all engineers are trained to an appropriate level and are performing to or above expectations.
- Implementing and effective hiring policy to hire the best talent in an efficient manager.
- Implementing an effective health and safety strategy and ensuring good compliance levels.
- Maintaining a good working relationship with the client, addressing any concerns appropriately.
Experience and Requirements
- Relevant Engineering Qualifications (C&G Level 3).
- Previous experience in a senior management position within FM and Building services.
- HVAP experience – either current or previous.
- Experience in corporate environments.
