Job
A Technical Facilities Manager with a background in building fabric is required to maintain a prestigious listed building and heritage site in Central London, on behalf of a boutique facilities management service provider.
Experience within heritage sites / listed buildings is essential.
You will manage a team of ten Fabric Engineers and multi-traders in delivering reactive and planned maintenance, as well as small projects, in line with contractual agreements.
The core hours are 08.00-17.00 Monday to Friday.

Accountabilities:
- Day-to-day supervision of the on-site maintenance team throughout specific areas of the client’s estate.
- Effective leadership of a team of Building Fabric Engineers, handymen, and third-party subcontractors.
- Supporting the operational activities of the client, including planned and reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, and preparations for functions.
- To supervise and review work to ensure that a consistently high standard of quality control and supervision is maintained and that activities are completed on time, within budget and to agreed specifications, quality, and safety standards.
- Responsibility for compliance and health & safety throughout the contract.
- Analysis of performance in relation to KPIs and SLAs.
Experience and Requirements
- A sound technical understanding of building fabric maintenance and minor work together with CAFM experience are essential.
- Experience with heritage sites / listed buildings is essential.
- A working knowledge of other hard services including mechanical and electrical will be desirable.
- The Facilities Manager will need to be security vetted by the client and undergo an Enhanced DBS check. The appointment and future employment will be subject to meeting these security criteria.
