A Technical Services Manager is required to lead the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance to a commercial campus in the City of London. Preferably electrically biased, you will supervise a team of supervisors and engineers to ensure service level agreements and key performance indicators are being met and that compliance and health and safety indicators meet and exceed the client’s expectations. You will also provide technical support and act as point of contact for the client on site.

Our client is an established building services provider; they deliver building maintenance contracts throughout the UK, to a portfolio of clients predominantly in the private sector. This includes commercial, retail, and high-end residential spaces as well as some industrial sites.

Accountabilities:

  • Coordinating and implementing planned and reactive maintenance for the buildings.
  • Ensure SLA’s and KPI’s are met and exceeded where possible.
  • Management duties for a team of 10 engineers, providing technical support and guidance, identifying requirements for training, and implementing disciplinary procedures.
  • Answer any queries or requests from the client in a helpful manner.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Electrical qualifications; C&G Electrical Installations levels 1, 2, and 3/HNC or equivalent.
  • 3 years of management experience.
  • 5 years’ experience within building services maintenance.
  • A client facing attitude.
  • HVAP status is a bonus but not a requirement.

Depending on experience this job will pay £48,000 – £52,000 and comes with a generous package.
