Technical Services Manager

A well-established and respected privately owned Facilities Services Company with a focus on technical excellence and the development of long-term sustainable customer relationships are looking for an experienced Technical Service Manager. You will be electrically biased, keen to join a growing organisation, and confident to lead a team of up to 16 engineers with both mechanical and electrical engineering skills. You will report into a site Account Manager and oversee two to three buildings, supervising contractors in High Voltage environments.

Based in a prime Northwest London postcode, this is a static site and a Monday to Friday role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and implementing planned and reactive maintenance for the up to three buildings on this commercial site
  • Ensure Service Level Agreement’s and Key Performance Indicators are met and exceeded where possible
  • Management duties for a team of five engineers, providing technical support and guidance, identifying requirements for training, and implementing disciplinary procedures
  • Reporting to the Account Manager
  • Implementing and enforcing health and safety compliance
  • Supervising subcontract labour through planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and high voltage environments
  • Supervising specialist subcontractors and engineers during high voltage switching shutdown.

Experience and Requirements

  • Electrical qualifications; C&G Electrical Installations levels 1, 2, and 3/HNC or equivalent
  • 3 years of management experience
  • 5 years’ experience within building services maintenance
  • Well presented and confident in client facing responsibilities.
  • HVAP status is preferred (C&G AP15)
